2.4.5 Functional description
The AM121-2 has the following major function block
Input mode detection and auto calibration block
Buffer memory and read/write control block
Image scaling, interpolation and dithering block
OSM mixer and LCD interface block
EEPROM interface block
CPU interface block
2.5 Reset signal generator circuit
Q30 is a reset IC. MPU (IC25) needs a reset signal if the monitor powered On and OFF. Q30 will create a
reset signal when +5Vx voltage is 4.2V. When we turn on the monitor and the +5Vx is increase to 4.2V, Q30
will create a reset signal to reset MPU(IC25 Pin 9) . Also when user turns OFF the monitor and +5Vx
decreases to 4.2V, Q30 will create a reset signal to reset the MPU and the reset time is about 100ms (MPU
needs 10ms to reset).
