3.2.1 Procedure for Loop-Back Diagnosis between the DLI and the Transmission Equipment
START
PCM lamp (red) on the DLI card illuminates.
Set SW3-1 of the DLI card to UP.
On the DLI card, various lamps are indicating as
follows.
(a) PA-DAIA card
• LINK (G): ON, flashing, or OFF
• CRC (R):
• PCM (R):
• FRM (R): One or more than one
• MFRM (R): lamp illuminates.
• RMT (R):
• BLUE (R):
(b) PA-2DAIA card
• LINK0, 1 (G): ON, flashing, or OFF
• ALM0, 1 (R): One or more than one
• RM/BLU0, 1 (R): lamp illuminates.
(c) PA-DAIC card
• LINK (G): ON, flashing, or OFF
• CRC (R):
• PCM (R):
• FRM (R):
• RMT (R):
• BLUE (R):
Set SW3-1 and SW3-2 of the DLI card to UP.
Set the transmission equipment to Remote Loop-
Back mode.
One or more than one
lamp illuminates.

Check to see if the power supply to the transmis-
sion equipment is normal or not. Also, check the
connection between the DLI and the transmission
equipment.
FAULT : DLI is faulty
