Chapter 6 Desktop Application Startup
The Desktop Application can be started in any of the following ways:
 Double-clicking on the desktop application icon within the Windows desktop
area.
 Selecting Start/All Programs/NEC/NEC Desktop Suite
During startup, the following actions are performed:
 The first time the application is started after installation, the Configuration Wizard
automatically runs.
SECTION 1 FULL WINDOW MODE
This User Interface mode presents valuable information about the current call activity
and provides easy access to the basic operations required by the user. Using either
the mouse or keyboard, the user can quickly move between the different areas of the
screen to search the company directory, and view the BLF status of the individual
lines configured via DSS/One Touch keys. An example of the Full Window Mode is
shown in Figure 6-1 Full Window Mode Screen.
