This guide is intended for hardware installers and system administrators who are installing an E2700
controller-drive tray and the related drive trays.
This guide does not provide extensive conceptual background or information about how to install and
configure the SANtricity
®
Storage Manager software. Refer to the appropriate SANtricity
documentation to learn how to install and configure the storage management software.
This guide is based on the following assumptions:
• You have consulted the
Site Preparation Guide
to plan the installation of this hardware in a
cabinet.
• You have all the necessary hardware required to install the controller-drive tray and drive trays for
the storage array.
