independent LAN ports. We recommend that you select this mode unless your
LAN device can support a static LAG only.

Static: If your device supports a static LAG only, select this mode. Otherwise, we
recommend that you select the Enable (LACP-IEEE 802.3ad) radio button
instead.
7. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
After you complete the next step, the Ethernet Port Aggregation Status field displays
if Ethernet port aggregation is active or inactive.
8. Physically connect your LAN device to LAN ports 1 and 2 on the router.
View or change the router LAN port
aggregation mode
To view or change your router’s LAN port aggregation mode:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device that is connected to the
router network.
2. Enter http://www.routerlogin.net.
A login window displays.
3. Enter the router admin user name and password.
The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified when you set
up your router. The user name and password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home page displays.
4. Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Ethernet Settings
The Ethernet Settings page displays.
In the LAN Port Aggregation section, the Ethernet Port Aggregation Status field
shows whether port aggregation is active:
•
Inactive: No link aggregation LAN device is connected to Ethernet LAN ports 1
and 2 on your router.
•
Active: A link aggregation LAN device is connected to Ethernet LAN ports 1 and
2 on your router.
5. To change the LAN port aggregation mode, select one of the following radio buttons:
