1.Washtheterminalwithhotwater,andapplygreaseto
theterminalsafterwashing.

Batteryvoltagecheck
NOTICE:ifthemachineistobeoperatedforashorttimewithoutbattery(usingaslavebatteryforstarting),use
additionalcurrent(lights)whileengineisrunningandinsulateterminalofbattery.Ifthisadviceisdisregarded,damage
toalternatorandregulatormayresult.
1.Stoptheengine.
2.Measurethevoltagewithacircuittesterbetween
thebatteryterminals.
3.Ifthebatteryvoltageislessthanthefactoryspec-
ication,checkthebatteryspecicgravityand
rechargethebattery.
Batteryvoltage:morethan12V
(1)Positiveterminal.
(2)Negativeterminal.

Replacementofthebattery
Toreplacethebatteriesproceedasfollows:
1.SetthebatterydisconnectswitchtotheOFFposi-
tion.Cut-offthenegative-terminalcable(-).Next,
cut-offthepositive-terminalcable(+).
2.Removethesupportbracket.
3.Installanewbattery.
4.Cleanthecablesandthebatteryterminals,and
applygrease.
5.Connectthepositive(+)andthenegative(-)cable
tothepositiveandthenegativeterminalofthebat-
teryrespectively.Setthebatterydisconnectswitch
totheONposition.
