Operationwiththehydraulicauger
Thehydraulicaugerisadouble-actinghydraulicattachment,andshallbeconnectedtotherstauxiliary(2-way)
hydrauliccircuit.
Therefore,tooperatewithahydraulicaugerthemachineshallbeequippedwiththerstauxiliary(2-way)hydraulic
circuit.
Aftermakingsuretohavereadandunderstoodthe
installationproceduredescribedintheOperator’smanual
oftheattachmentproceedasfollows:
1.Makesurethatthemachineandtheattachmenttobe
installedareonatandlevelground.
2.Operatethecontrolsofboom,armandbucketinorder
toinstallthehydraulicaugerwithitsrelativecradleand
powerheadunitaugerdrivetothebucketlinkageat
thetopofthearm.
3.Stoptheengine.Releasepressureinsidetherstaux-
iliary(1-way)hydrauliccircuitasindicatedonpage
6-10.
4.Openthesidehoodtoaccesstothethree-wayvalve.
Useawrenchtoturntheboltofthethree-wayvalve
andpositioningittothetwowayow,doubleacting
hydrauliccircuit.
Closethesidehood.
5.Closethestopvalvesatthetopofthearm.Install
theconnectinghosesbetweentheattachmentandthe
stopvalves.
NOTICE:onthepowerheadunitaugerdrive,make
suretoidentifythesupplyport(INorP)andthere-
turnporttotank(OUTorT).Thehoseforpowerhead
unitaugerdrivesupplyshallalwaysbeconnectedto
thestopvalveontheleft-handsideofthearm.Ifthe
supplyportonthepowerheadunitaugerdriveisnot
alignedtothestopvalveontheleft-handsideofthe
arm,checkforanalternativesetupofthehydraulic
portsontheattachment.
NOTICE:alwayskeepeachconnectinghoseonthe
samesideofthearm.Nevercross-overtheconnect-
inghosesbetweenthetwosidesofthearm.
6.Openthestopvalvesandcheckthexingclampsfor
looseness,andthetubesandhosesttingsforleak-
ages.
