5.4 Using NewStep-Util

NewStep-Util provides control of the features available in the NewStep
Controller. After installation is complete reboot your PC and execute NewStep-
Util by double-clicking on the newly created icon in Newport / NewStep
Controller folder.
“Select Communication Port” window will open.

Choose Port Type – For RS232 choose the appropriate Port #, for example,
Com1 and Press Enter.
