Switching to maximum electrical output
NOTE
This connection only applies for 3x400V for
S1256-13 and -18.
If more than the maximum power (7 kW) for the immersion
heater connected on delivery is needed, the heat pump can
be switched to maximum 9 kW.
Move white cable from terminal block X7-2:N to terminal
block X9:L(2) on the base board (AA2).

EMERGENCY MODE
Emergency mode is used in event of operational interference
and in conjunction with service.
When S1256 is put into emergency mode, the system works
as follows:
• The compressor is blocked.
• S1256 prioritises heating production.
• Hot water is produced if possible.
• The load monitor is not active.
• Max output for the immersion heater in emergency mode,
limited according to the setting in menu 7.1.8.2 - "Emer-
gency mode".
• Fixed supply temperature if the system has no value from
the outdoor temperature sensor (BT1).
When the emergency mode is active, the status lamp is yel-
low.
You can activate the emergency mode both when S1256 is
running and when it is switched off.
To activate when S1256 is running: press and hold the on/off
button (SF1) for 2 seconds and select "emergency mode"
from the shutdown menu.
To activate emergency mode when S1256 is switched off:
press and hold the on/off button (SF1) for 5 seconds. (De-
activate the emergency mode by pressing once.)
