Bulb Replacement
With the increase of projector operation time, the luminance of projector bulb will become lower
gradually, and the bulb will become more fragile. It is suggested to replace the bulb in case of
display of warning message. Please do not try to replace the bulb by yourself. Contact professional
service personnel for bulb replacement.
• Hg - The bulb contains hydrargyrum. Perform management by local regulations for waste
disposal.
• For bulb replacement for ceiling-mounted projector, there shall be no person standing
below bulb socket to prevent harm to the eyes by broken bulb.
• To lower electric shock risk, do shut down the projector and pull out power wire before
bulb replacement.
• To lower the risk of severe burn, cool the projector for at least 45min before bulb
replacement.
• To lower the risk of finger injury and damage to internal components, please take out
sharp broken bulb pieces carefully.
• To lower the risk of finger injury and/or influence on image quality due to lens touch, do
not touch empty bulb chamber after taking out the bulb.
• The bulb contains hydrargyrum. Please dispose the bulb in correct mode with reference to
local regulations for hazardous waste.
• To ensure optimal performance of the projector, it is suggested to purchase and replace
with regular projector bulb.
• Please ensure good ventilation conditions in handling broken bulb. It is suggested to wear
mask, protective glasses, goggles or face mask, and wear gloves and other protective
clothes.
1. Disconnect power supply, and then pull out power wire of the projector from power socket.
If the bulb is hot, wait for about 45min until the bulb is cooled to avoid burn.
2. Loosen the screw on bulb cover.
