3 Select Clean now.
Highlight Clean now and
press J.
The camera will check the
image sensor and then
begin cleaning. This
process takes about 7
seconds; during this time,
1 flashes in the top
control panel and other
operations can not be
performed. Do not remove
or disconnect the power
source until cleaning is
complete and 1 is no
longer displayed.

Choose from the following options:

5 Clean at startup
The image sensor is automatically cleaned each time
the camera is turned on.

shutdown
The image sensor is automatically cleaned during
shutdown each time the camera is turned off.

The image sensor is cleaned automatically at startup
and at shutdown.
