Trouble Check point
The image is out of
focus.
• Check that the edge enhancement is set properly using the application
software.

• Check that the electronic zoom is not turned on by the application
software.

• Check that the microscope and the lens is in focus.
• Check that the product is used in a place with little vibration.
• Check that the aperture diaphragm is adjusted correctly. (The aperture
diaphragm must be adjusted to 70% to 80% of the numerical aperture of
the objective, or 70% to 80% of the pupil of the objective.)

• Check that the enlargement factor is adjusted correctly. (The
enlargement factor must be adjusted to 500 to 1000 times of the
numerical aperture of the objective.)
The image is too dark
or too bright.
• Check that exposure or tone is adjusted correctly using the application
software.

• Check that the intensity of illumination of the microscope is appropriate.
The color is poor.
• Check that the white balance is set with the application software.

• Check that the color compensation is not set too high with the
application software.

• Check that the hue adjustment is not performed with the application
software.
