Flash Photography Support Functions
Flash exposure compensation
Exposure compensation for a flash-illuminated subject without affecting
background exposure can be achieved by adjusting the SB-5000’s flash
output level.
Some plus compensation may be necessary to make the main subject
brighter, and some minus compensation to make it darker.
Flash exposure compensation is possible in i-TTL, auto aperture flash,
non-TTL auto flash and distance-priority manual flash modes.
Power zoom function
The SB-5000 automatically adjusts the zoom head position to match the
lens focal length.
Power zoom function is automatically activated when lens focal length
information is transmitted from the attached camera to the SB-5000.
Zoom head positions that can be automatically adjusted differ
depending on the settings.
