Smileys (Menu 01-7)
You can edit and store the smileys
such as ":-)", and use them in
compiling messages.
Erase messages (Menu 01-8)
You can choose to erase all messages
in All read, Inbox, Outbox.
When you choose All read, all
messages in Outbox and the read
messages in Inbox are deleted.
When you choose Inbox, only the
read messages in this folder are
deleted.
When you choose Outbox, all
messages in this folder are deleted.
Message settings
(Menu 01-9)
The phone offers two kinds of
message settings: settings specific
to each setting group (’set’) and
settings common to all text
messages.
Set 1 (Menu 01-9-1)

A set is a collection of settings
needed for sending text and picture
messages.
Each set has the following settings:
Message centre number, Messages
sent as, Message validity, and
Rename this set. You need the
message centre number to send text
and picture messages. You can
obtain this number from your service
provider.
Common (Menu 01-9-2)

The settings in this submenu apply
to all text messages that you send,
irrespective of the chosen set. The
available settings are: Delivery
reports, Reply via same centre,
Character support.
Info service (Menu 01-10)
With this network service you can
receive messages on various topics
(such as traffic conditions) from the
network. For details, contact your
service provider.
Voice mailbox number
(Menu 01-11)
You can save and change the phone
number of your voice mailbox
(network service) here.
Service command editor
(Menu 01-12)
You can send service requests to
your service provider. Key in the
desired characters. Press and hold
to switch between letters and
numbers. Press Send to send the
request.
1. The total number of sets depends on how many sets your SIM card offers.
2. The shortcut number of this menu depends on the number of sets available. Here it is
assumed that only one set is available.
