Several divert options may be
active at the same time. When
Divert all voice calls without
ringing is activated, is
shown on the display in
standby mode.
2. Set the selected option on
(Activate) or off (Cancel),
check whether the option is
activated by selecting Status,
or specify a delay for certain
diverts in Set delay (not
available for all divert
options).
2. Automatic redial: You can set
your phone to make up to ten
attempts to connect the call after
an unsuccessful call attempt.
3. Speed dialling: When this
function is on, you can dial the
names and phone numbers
assigned to the speed dial keys
to by pressing and
holding the corresponding key.
4. Call waiting options: When this
network service is activated, the
network notifies you of a new
incoming call while you have a
call in progress.
5. Own number sending: You can
set your phone number to be
displayed (On) or hidden (Off)
from the person you are calling
(network service). When you
select Set by network, the setting
agreed with your service provider
is used.
6. Phone line in use: With this
network service you can select
the phone line 1 or 2 for making
calls, or prevent line selection, if
supported by your SIM card.
Incoming calls can be answered
no matter which line you select.
However, you will not be able to
make calls if you select line 2
without subscribing to this
network service. When line 2 is
selected, "2" is shown on the
display in the standby mode.
Shortcut to switch the
lines: In standby mode,
press and hold .
7. Automatic answer: You can set
your phone to answer an
incoming call after one ring when
the phone is connected to the
Plug and Play Handsfree (PPH-1)
or the headset (HDC-5).
Phone settings (Menu 4-4)
1. Language: You can select the
language for the display texts.
2. Cell info display: You can set the
phone to indicate when it is used
in a cellular network based on
Micro Cellular Network (MCN)
technology (network service). In
such a network, local calls may
cost less than otherwise.
3. Welcome note: You can key in a
message which will show briefly
on the display when the phone is
switched on.
