5.2.6.1 ABR MoFRR for Intra-AS
With ABR multicast-only fast reroute (MoFRR) in the intra-AS environment, the leaf
chooses a local primary ABR and a backup ABR, with separate mLDP signaling
toward these two ABRs. In addition, each path from a leaf to the primary ABR and
from a leaf to the backup ABR will support IGP MoFRR.
End-to End Intra-AS MoFRR is not supported, and stops at each IGP instance.
MoFRR stops at the ABR if the ABR has a leaf.
5.2.6.2 Interaction with an Inter-AS Non-segmented mLDP
Solution
Intra-AS option C is supported in conjunction with inter-AS option C. Intra-AS option
C with inter-AS option B is not supported.
