■ Keyguard
With the keyguard, you can lock the keypad to prevent
keys from being pressed accidentally. Remember to lock
your phone keypad to prevent accidental calls. If the
keypad is locked, it unlocks when you receive a call. After
the call, the lock automatically reactivates.
Select Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Automatic
keyguard > On to set the keypad to lock automatically
after a preset time delay when the phone is in the standby
mode and no function of the phone has been used; or
select Off to deactivate the feature.
When the keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the
official emergency number programmed into your phone.
To unlock the keypad, select Unlock, and press * within
1.5 seconds.
