Using Bluetooth®
NOTE: Your NOOK supports the A2DP, AVCRP, and HID profiles of the Bluetooth 2.0 standard for connectiv-
ity, enabling your NOOK to connect to Bluetooth devices such as headphones, speakers, and key-
boards. These wireless devices are sold separately. See your NOOK retailer for supported Bluetooth
devices.
Turning Bluetooth On and O
To turn Bluetooth on or o, do this:
1. Tap the gear icon in the Status Bar to open the Quick Settings window.
2. In the Quick Settings window, tap the All Settings menu choice.
3. On the Settings screen, tap the Wireless and Bluetooth menu choice on the left if it is not already selected.
4. Under the Devices heading, tap the Bluetooth toggle button to turn Bluetooth on or o.
Using Bluetooth Devices
You can pair your NOOK with Bluetooth devices such as Bluetooth headsets and loudspeakers.
If you have turned Bluetooth on and your NOOK detects one or more supported Bluetooth devices nearby, it lists
the devices on the Wireless & Bluetooth settings screen. Tap on the device you want to pair your NOOK with.
