3.6.5. Audio/Visual Alarm Group Disablement
Audio/visual alarm devices assigned to a group may be collectively disabled.
To disable a group of devices, press the ALARM button. The ALARM LED and the DISABLE status LED will
be on.
To re-enable a group of devices, press the ALARM button. The ALARM LED and the DISABLE status LED will
be off.
3.6.6. Delays Active Disablement
If Alarm Condition delays have been configured, activation of audio/visual alarm devices and output modules
will be delayed until the pre-set time has expired. When delays have been configured and an alarm is received
from an initiating device, the DELAYS ACTIVE LED will be on.
To disable pre-programmed delays to the Alarm Condition, take the following actions:
1) Enter Access Level 2 or Access Level 3.
2) Press the DELAYS ACTIVE button.
3.6.7. Alarm Relay Selective Disablement
Initiating devices may be configured to inhibit the activation of alarm relays.
To disable an initiating device from activating the alarm relay outputs, take the following actions.
1) Enter Access Level 2.
2) Press

and
buttons on the alpha-numeric keypad to select the desired addressable loop number.
3) Press the
and
buttons to select a device number.
4) Press the
, button to enter or edit the device description.
5) Press
button to enable the alphabetic keypad.
6) Enter a description for the device using the alpha-numeric keypad.
7) Press
to save the description.
8) Press
. The cursor will move to the INHIBITED field.
9) Press the
and
buttons to select NONE or ALL.
10) Press the
button to confirm the selection. The cursor will move to the next device number for further
assignments.
11) Repeat steps 2 ~ 10 for devices connected to other loops.
12) When complete, press to return to the menu.
3.6.8. Alarm Outputs Global Disablement
The alarm outputs (including the alarm relay and output modules) may be disabled when the control and
indicating equipment enters the Alarm Condition.
To disable all outputs, press the ALARM RELAY button. The ALARM RELAY LED and DISABLE status LED
will be on.
To re-enable all outputs, press the ALARM RELAY button. The ALARM RELAY LED and the DISABLE status
LED will be off.
If there is an alarm signal waiting to be processed, the control and indicating
equipment will immediately enter the Alarm Condition.
If the delay is activated, pressing Delays Active button at Access Level 1 will cancel
the delay
