- Close the battery compartment cover by pressing down the flap on the
housing of the camera and then by pushing it inwards till it locks. The
cover clicks into place.
- To remove the memory card, open the battery compartment cover and
gently press on the inserted card. This will protrude a little so that you
can get a hold of it and remove it.

If the memory card or the internal memory is exhausted, the
message Memory full will appear on the display [13].
Write-Protecting the Memory Card
The supplied memory card features a write-protection tab. When the write
protection is enabled (see the right figure below) you will only be able to
view existing pictures, not delete or edit them. Also, it will not be possible to
record any new pictures onto the memory card.

If you attempt to take a picture while the write protection is
enabled, when pressing the shutter button [3] the message Card
locked will appear on the display [13].
