Engine Oil
Recommended Oil
Use 4-stroke mineral-based engine oil
that meets or exceeds the requirements
for API service classification SM, SL or
SJ. Always check the API service label
certification on the oil container; it must
contain at least one of the above
standards.
Oil Viscosity
SAE 5W30 mineral-based oil is
recommended for all seasons.
However, during the hottest days of the
summer, the XP-S 10W40 mineral oil
can be used.
NOTE: For improved overall
performance and all season
applications, use XP-S 5W40 synthetic
oil.
