Gearbox Oil
Recommended Oil
Use XP-S chain case oil or an
equivalent.
CAUTION: Do not use other types of oil
when servicing. Do not mix with other
types of oil.
Gearbox Oil Level
CAUTION: Check level and refill if
necessary. Do not overfill. Operating
the gearbox with an improper level may
severely damage gearbox. Wipe off any
spillage.
Place the vehicle on a level surface.
Select NEUTRAL position then apply
parking brake.
Remove gearbox oil level plug to check
level.
1. Oil level plug
2. Oil drain plug
The oil should be level with the bottom
of the oil level bole. Refill as required
until gearbox oil level flows through oil
level hole.
Gearbox Oil Change
Place the vehicle on a level surface.
Clean drain plug area and oil level plug
then remove the gearbox drain plug.
NOTE: To completely drain the gearbox,
place a jack under the left footrest and
tilt the vehicle toward the right side.
When the gearbox is empty, install the
drain plug and replace the vehicle on
the ground.
Refill gearbox, using XP-S chain case
oil or an equivalent.
