Changing the Printer Settings
This section explains the basic procedure to change the equipment settings.

This section describes how to change the settings of the printer as an Administrator.

Press the scroll button several times to select [Admin Setup] and then
press the «ENTER» button.

Enter the administrator password using the numeric (0-9) keys, and then press
the «ENTER» button.
The factory default password is “123456”.

Press the scroll button or to select the setup menu on which you want
to change a setting and then press the «ENTER» button.

Press the scroll button or to change the setting.

Press the «ENTER» button.

Press the «ON LINE» button to exit the menu mode.

Item Factory Default Description
Enabling Default Gateway
(When Wireless LAN is installed)
Wired Selects a connecting method between different
segments.
Wired Enable Sets whether to enable wired LAN.
TCP/IP Enable Sets whether to enable TCP/IP.
NetBIOS over TCP Enable Sets whether to enable NetBIOS over TCP.
IP Address Set Auto Sets the setting method of IP address.
IPv4 Address ***.***.***.*** Sets the IP address. This item is displayed when [IP
Address Set] is [Manual].
Subnet Mask ***.***.***.*** Sets the Subnet Mask. This item is displayed when [IP
Address Set] is [Manual].
Gateway Address ***.***.***.*** Sets the Gateway Address. This item is displayed when
[IP Address Set] is [Manual].
DHCPv6 Disable Selects enable / disable of DHCP when IPv6 is used.
Web Enable Enables/disables to access to the web page of the
printer.
Telnet Disable Sets whether to enable Telnet.
FTP Disable Sets whether to enable FTP.
