Cleaning properties:
: Cleaned well
: Cleaned with hard scrubbing
Wipe with a
dry item
Wipe with
alcohol
Gauze
Tissue paper Must be soft
<Notes>
• The alcohol used for wiping must be ethyl alcohol (ethanol). Be aware that rotating an image
drum before complete evaporation of alcohol causes toner adherence, which is a factor to
produce dirt.
• Wipe the surface evenly.
• Since wiping with dry tissue paper requires harder scrubbing to remove dirt, be careful not to
damage photoconductive drums.
• Be careful not to expose the photosensitive surface to the light of a fluorescent lamp etc. for
15 minutes or more during wiping.
• It is impossible to rotate an image drum (hereinafter referred to as an ID) singly. To clean the
entire circumference of the photosensitive surface, use DRUM 1/N ROTAION.
