Displaying DRUM 1/N ROTAION
This function is used for recovery from filming.
1. Enter self-diagnostic (level 1) mode and press either [Menu+] or [Menu-] repeatedly until the
following message appears.
2. Pressing [Enter] displays the following message. Press either [Menu+] or [Menu-] repeatedly
until a target item appears.
<<When operable (idling)>>
DRUM 1/N ROTATION
* After this message appears, initializing operation by cover open/close is not executed
until the display returns to the state shown in step 1.
<<When not operable (initializing or printing)>>
DRUM 1/N ROTATION
EXECUTE
* Return to the screen shown in step 1 by pressing [Back] once, and then press [Enter]
again.
3. Pressing [Enter] displays the following message.

DRUM 1/N ROTATION
FAILED
n: the number of rotations done/N: the number of rotations specified
(1) Drum rotation by a 1/N circumference is executed, and the message in the bottom row of the
panel starts flashing.
(2) Pressing [Enter] again returns the display to the state described in (1). (The value of n is
updated. When n=N, the value returns to n=1)
(3) Pressing [Back] returns the display to the state shown in step 2. (This operation is invalid
when the drum is rotating.)

(1) A setting item and its set value are displayed in the top and bottom rows of the panel
respectively. Press either [Menu+] or [Menu-] repeatedly until the desired value appears.
(2) Pressing [Back] returns the display to the state shown in step 2.
