Overview of the authentication function

ActiveDirectory authentication
This is an optional user authentication function for devices that use user databases
registered in Active Directory.
This allows you to manage the Printer and other Active Directory compatible
devices together.
This function is convenient when you want to register a large number of users.


One-time password authentication (

This is an authentication method for print mode only.
Set the one-time password with the printer driver when the Printer prints highly
condential drawings without user authentication.
With the one-time password specied, the Printer does not print data it receives
until the password is entered from the operation panel.
