User authentication
Registering a User
The following three methods are used to register users.
- Registration from the operation panel
- Registration from a Web browser
- Registration from the user maintenance tool (dedicated software)
The following describes user registration from the operation panel.
When operating with the Web function, register users on the Maintenance function
User Registration screen with the same method as the operation panel method.
For details regarding registration with the user maintenance tool, see the User’s
Manual of the software.

Press User Authentication Settings.
Note
When Printer Administration is On, user administration settings are
operated only by user administrators with printer administration privileges.
