Press Register and then enter user registration information on the
following screens.
Press OK.
User Name (required) 1 to 63 characters
PIN Code (required) 1 to 63 alphanumeric characters
Login Name (required) 1 to 63 alphanumeric characters
Password 0 to 31 alphanumeric characters
Usable Functions Select the functions that the registered user will be able to use.
Project Name Register the projects (maximum of 5) in which the registered user is
participating.
0 to 15 alphanumeric characters
LPR Data for User
Identication
The setting is required for the print mode authentication without
printer driver connections. Enabled only with LPR connection.
No LPR for Identication: Select when:
- Print mode authentication is not required; or
- An authentication code is specified with the printer driver.
User Name: Select when print mode is authenticated with a
computer login user name.
Host Name: Select when print mode is authenticated with a
computer host name.

Name
When LPR Data for User Identification is set to User Name or Host
Name, enter the user name or host name used by the user.
0 to 31 alphanumeric characters
E-mail Address Set the e-mail address of the destination when using the E-mail scan
data function.
0 to 127 alphanumeric characters
Proxy Users 1 to 5 Configure this setting when you want, with print authentication, to
authorize a user (proxy user) other than yourself to print your print
jobs.
Register a PIN code or a login name for the proxy user.
Up to five proxy users can be registered.
