Insert the SmartMedia card

Make sure that the camera power
switch is in the off position.

Open the Card cover.

Insert the SmartMedia card in the
direction shown in the illustration.
● Note the orientation of the card. If it
is inserted incorrectly, it may
become jammed.
● When using a special function
SmartMedia card (optional), insert
it in the same way.

Close the cover tightly.

Insert the card fully until
you feel it lock into place.
