11. When changing the objective
from lower magnification to
higher magnification, the
objective collides with the

The specimen is placed upside

Place the specimen with the cover
glass side facing up.

The cover glass is too thick. Use a cover glass with thickness of
0.17 mm.

light.
The AC adapter or power cord is
disconnected.
Connect the power cord to a power
outlet securely.

magnification, the specimen is

The diopter is incorrect. Adjust the diopter of eyepieces
