To record the date/time, title, logo, measurement results and other information displayed on
the screen onto the still image, tap the [MENU] button on the live screen to display the menu,
select <RECORD MODE> - <PRINT SCREEN ON/OFF> and set it to <ON> (See page 65).
Playing back the still image that has the date, title, and other information recorded
on it may result in overlapping of date, time, title, logo, and other text. This is not a
malfunction.
TIP
 Recording the image display information
Setting <ON> in the <FILE NAME MARK> menu enables following functions when recording
images.
· Function to select save destination folders.
· Function to select file marks which are added to the end of file names.
· Function to select titles.
To enable the <FILE NAME MARK>, tap the [MENU] button on the live screen to display the
menu, select <RECORD MODE> - <FILE NAME MARK> and set it to <ON> (See page 65).
 File marks
File names using the folder names of the save destination are assigned to images, and such
images are recorded in the save destination folder in the SDHC card. You can change the file
name to the name you desire (up to 30 alphanumeric characters and symbols).
· If <ON> is set in the <FILE NAME MARK> menu, you can add the letter “_A”, “_B”, “_C”
or “_D” at the end of image file names. Use this function to categorize image files.
· The category names of the file marks can be changed. (Contact Olympus for details.)
TIP
 Image file names
Save destination folder name_?????.***
Extension
“.JPG” for still image files, “.WAV” for sound files
and “.AVI” for movie files.
5-digit file name serial number
The file name serial number is assigned sequentially from 00001 to 99999.
