3 Pre-observation/pre-operation preparation and inspection

Using the AC adapter
After connecting the provided AC power cord to the AC inlet of the AC adapter, plug the plug end
of the AC power cord securely into a 3P power outlet.
CAUTION
• Always grasp the plug when unplugging it from the electric outlet. Pulling the cord creates the risk of wire
breakage and other malfunction.
3.2 Pre-operation preparation
Turn on power. (See P.14)
Check the remaining battery level. (See P.14)
Select the display language (initial settings). (See P.28)
Configure date and time settings (initial settings). (See P.28)
Attach the optical adapter. (See P.14)
Check the illumination of the distal end. (See P.15)
Adjust white balance. (See P.27)
Check the angulation operation of the insertion tube. (See P.15)
Install the tripod adapter (when using a tripod). (See P.16)
Secure the insertion tube to move the instrument to another location. (See
P.16)
Conduct a pre-operation inspection. (See P.17)
