5 Press the + or − button to select
the location to move it to.
6 Press the OK `/ MENU button to
complete the setting.
• If there are more files to move, repeat
Steps 3 through 4.
• Pressing the 0 button without
pressing the OK `/MENU button will
cancel the settings and return you to
the previous screen.
7 Press the STOP (4) button to close
the menu screen.
Dividing files [File Divide]
Files with large capacities and long
recording times can be divide so that they
are easier to manage and edit.
Only MP3  les and PCM*  les
recorded on this recorder can be
divided.
* For WS-710M, WS-700M only.
1 Stop playback at the divide
position.
• In the file display, the stop position
becomes the divide position.
• While the recorder is during playback
mode, press and hold the 9 or
0 button to fast-forward or rewind
(☞ P. 33).
• It is useful to set index marks on
marking in advance at the divide
position (☞ P. 35).
2 Select [ File Divide ] from the menu
on the [ File Menu ].
• For details on how to enter the menu
settings, see “Menu setting method”
(☞ P.47).
4 Press the OK `/ MENU or 9
button.
• The cursor will flash to confirm that
the file can be moved.
