7．Connection Procedure
7.5.2. Connecting Online and Transferring the Scan List
Connect online with the Controller, and transfer the setting (scan list) of the device
configuration to the DeviceNet Unit via the Controller. When the transfer is completed,
remote I/O communications start automatically.

Select Auto Online from the
Network Menu.

The Auto Online Dialog Box is
displayed. Select the USB
connection Option in the
Connection type Field, and click
the Connect Button.

After an online connection is
established, the background
color of the Network
Configuration Window changes
as shown in the right figure.
Precautions for Correct Use
If an online connection cannot be made to the Controller, check the cable connection. Or,
return to step 1, check the settings such as a connection type and try again.
