Open the shipping container and remove the top foam insert. Place the top foam insert in a
safe location.
2 Remove the accessories box and place it in a safe location.
3 Lift the robot out of the bottom foam insert using the inner link and base as lifting points. Never
lift the robot by the flyover or quill assemblies.
4 Fasten the robot to the mounting surface using the 3-2-2 Mounting Procedure on page 3-3.
5 Inspect the entire robot for damage before proceeding with further installation. If any damage is
evident, contact your local OMRON representative.

After the robot is fastened to the mounting surface, the unpacking procedure is complete.
