Customizing the Function Settings
Changing the parental lock level
Select [Level], then press ENTER.
The unit displays the Register Code Number
window.
Enter the 4-digit password.
Press ENTER.
The unit displays the Level Change window. The
factory setting is [Off].
Press / to select the desired level,
then press ENTER.
The parental lock level is set.

Playing a DVD disc that is locked
If you try to play a disc that has a parental lock, the unit may display the Register Code Num-
ber window. In this case, you need to enter the valid password to play the disc.
1 Press the number buttons to enter the 4-digit password.
2 Press ENTER.
