To connect components using the Ill /erminal, simply connect a
remote control cable from this 1"211lerminal to the Il I lerminal of
the other component. An Ill remole control cable with a I/8-inch
(3.5-mm) minia/ure two-conductor plug comes with every cassette
tape deck, compact disc player, MD recorder, and DVD player that
has an Il I lerminal.
• When performing operations with Ill-connected components
using the Il I system, do not use the remote zone (Zone 2).
• For remote control operation, the audio connection cables must
a]so be connected.
• If a component has two Il I lerminals, you can use either one to
connect to the TX-SRT01/701E/601/601E. The other one can be
used to daisy chain with another component.
• With Onkyo DVD players, you can enter the pre-program code
so thai you can operate the DVD player directly with the remote
