signal.
Setup Procedure
1. Press the AUDIO ADJUST button.
The Audio Adjust settings appear ill the front display and on the
monitor.

Bass, Treble
Separately ac[just the bass and treble sellings in 2-s/ep increments.
'Ihe Bass and Treble adjustments are only enabled for the front left
and right speakers.
Note:
If Direct, Pure Audio (TX-SR701/701E only), or THX (TX-SR701/
701E only) is selected as the lis/ening mode, these sellings cannot
be made. To make these settings, first select another listening mode.
Double Bass
The Double Bass function boosts the bass sound by lelling the bass
sound of "Front L/R" speakers output also fiom the subwoofer. To
enable this function, in the "Speaker Config" menu, set the
"Subwoofer" 1o "Yes" and "FrontL/R" to "Large?'
'Ihe Double Bass function is effective especially when the input is
monaural, 2-channel or PCM 96kHz signal.
On: Select to turn on the Double Bass function.
Off: Select to turn offthe Double Bass function.
Late Night
The audio for movies made for the cinema have a la<ge dynamic
range; thus, the difference between loud noises and soft noises is
greaL 'Ik) heat the quieler sounds such as background noises or
human conversa/ions, the movie must be played back a/ la<ger
volumes. When this setting is set to "High" or "Low," the dynamic
range of the sound is narrowed down to allow you to easily hear
minute sounds at low volumes. This function is especially useful if
you wish to play a movie a/low volumes during the nighttime.
This can be set to either "Off" or "Low," or "High." When this
setting is set to "High" or "Low," the dynamic range of the sound is
narrowed down to allow you to easily hear minute sounds at low
volume.

Notes:
• The Lale Night function is effective only on Dolby Digital
encoded software.
• The depth of the Late Night effect is delermined by Dolby
Digital software. With some sources, it may produce little or no
effect.
