4. When the cover reaches the closed position, rotate the latch clockwise until
you hear the lock snap into place.
Access the Transport Area:
1. Turn the transport latch counter-clockwise and pull the transport cover
away from the scanner (see Figure 4-64).
2. Clear any paper or debris that is caught in the transport area.

3. To close the transport cover, hold onto the latch and gently pull the cover
closed.
4. When the cover reaches the closed position, rotate the latch clockwise until
you hear the lock snap into place.
Slamming the clamshell down can damage the image sensors.
