6.3.14 GS1 Composite
The GS1 Composite barcode symbology contains a linear barcode component with a special 2D
Composite Component (CC) barcode symbol printed on top. The linear component encodes the
item’s primary identification. The adjacent 2D component encodes supplementary data.
