b. Click Set User Type and then select the user type that you want to assign to all the selected resources.
Click Apply.
The Set User Type group action is displayed here only if the administrator has added it to the Resources
context layout structure. Be aware that when you change the user type of a user, the pages the user can
view and the permissions on those pages may be different.
Navigating Back
When you can navigate to a page from many different pages, the Back link displays the specific page that you navigated
from. For example, you can go to Resource Info from Dispatch Console, Manage, or Resources. So, the Back link on
Resource Info takes you to the specific page where you navigated from.
When you access a resource page from a page that does not have the main header, the main header is not displayed
on the resource page as well. For example, if you go to Resource Calendar from a resource’s Route or Activity List
page, the main header is not displayed. The originating page remains unchanged in these cases. The Add resource,
Edit resource, and Inventory list pages are always displayed using their existing headers.
On devices with smaller screens, the name of the page is displayed without the name of the previous page. The Back
link works the same way it works on larger screens.
Search for a Work Zone
When a resource is assigned to several work zones, you can search through the work zones on the Resource Work
Zones page.
1. Open the Resource Info page from the Manage, Dispatch Console, or Resources page.
2. Click the stack icon and then click Work Zones.
3. In the Search box, enter the work zone you want to search for.
The list of matching work zones display. This list shows the temporary work zones with a calendar icon and the
recurrence details below the assignment dates. The work zone recurrence details are displayed as given in this
table:
