10. Slowly return the starter handle to original position.
Never let go and allow it to spring back!! See fig 38.
11. Repeat the above two steps until engine starts.
12. Push in the choke lever (④ in diagram). See fig 39.
13. Once the engine has started, release the button on the
throttle interlock (⑦ in diagram) to put the engine into
an idling mode.
Note: Sometimes you have to leave the choke on until the
engine warms up, mastering the position of the choke lever is
an art on all our petrol tools and you get used to the sound of
the engine with more usage of the saw. When the throttle is
first applied the “half throttle” button will return to its normal
position.
