5.1. About DivX

5.1.1. General

DivX is a new video compressing format that is applied MPEG4 technology to improve image

quality and the compressibility, and it is developed by the DivXNetworks, Inc., Video file of high

resolution and the high picture quality can be made though it is a high compressibility.

DivX codec is necessary for converting video to DivX file and .playback files made.
