(4) Disconnect the Speaker Harness.
(5) Release the Harness from the Harness Clamp.
(6) Remove 7 Screws.
(7) Remove the SC Cover.
(8) Install the Hardware Key into the CN324
connector on the SC PC Board.
Note:
The connector is keyed, to prevent damage to the
SC PC Board, install the Hardware Key as
illustrated. Do not force the Hardware Key into the
connector if facing the wrong way.
(9) Proceed with the installation of other options.
If finished, reinstall all Harnesses, and Covers.
(10) Plug the AC Power Cord, and turn the Power
Switch on the Left Side of the machine to the ON
position.
(11) Reconnect the Telephone Line Cable if it was
disconnected.
(12) Update the firmware of the unit to the PCL
Option firmware. Refer to the attached "Service
Notes".
(13) Install the PCL6 Software into the PC with the
Operating Instructions by following the prompts
of the Installation Wizard.
