The component video terminals
Connections through these terminals provide higher quality pictures than through the S video terminals. The labeling of these terminals differs
with the make of television so refer to the operating instructionsfor details.
Black Level Control
After making this connection, change the black level for a better picture (_' "Black Level Control", page 32).
You cannot connect through the component terminals on a high-vision television that isn't equipped to deal with DVD-Video signals,
• If your television is monaural
Use a stereo-monaural audio cable instead of the supplied AudioNideo cable. The video pad of the cable (yellow) can still be used if
required. •
