Note:
R When another user joins the conversation,
the interrupt tone sounds.
R To prevent other users from joining your
conversations with outside callers, turn the
privacy mode on (page 35).
Transferring calls, conference
calls
Available for:
KX-TGE822/KX-TGE823
Outside calls can be transferred or a
conference call with an outside party can be
made between handsets in the same radio cell.
1 During an outside call, press MMENUN.
2 MbN: “Intercom” a MOKN
3 MbN: Select the desired unit. a MOKN
R If you select “Voice Paging”, the
call will be switched from the
ear-receiver mode to the
speakerphone mode.
4 Wait for the paged party to answer.
R If the paged party does not answer,
press MBACKN to return to the outside
call.
5 To complete the transfer:
Press M N.
To establish a conference call:
MMENUN a MbN: “Conference” a
MOKN
R To leave the conference, press M
N.
The other 2 parties can continue the
conversation.
R To put the outside call on hold:
MMENUN a MbN: “Hold” a MOKN
To resume the conference: MMENUN
a MbN: “Conference” a MOKN
R To cancel the conference: MMENUN a
MbN: “Stop Conference” a MOKN
You can continue the conversation
with the outside caller.
Handset locator
You can locate a misplaced handset by
paging it.
1 Base unit: Press MHANDSET
LOCATORN.
R All registered handsets beep for 1
minute.
2 To stop paging:
Base unit: Press MHANDSET
LOCATORN.
Handset: Press M
N.
Mobile locator
This feature allows you to locate a misplaced
mobile phone by pressing the MMOBILE
LOCATORN button on the base unit and
calling your mobile phone. You must assign
your mobile phone’s phone number to the
button beforehand. Only 1 mobile phone
number (24 digits max.) can be assigned.
