Problem Cause/solution
Some Bluetooth headphones can
o
nly be connected to one device
at a time.
If you want to use these types of
Bluetooth headphones mainly by
connecting a smartphone, you
can disconnect the Bluetooth
headphones automatically after
the call has ended.

R By setting below function, you may be able to automatically
reconnect the Bluetooth headphones to your smartphone when
the call is ended with Panasonic handset KX-TGDA99.
Connection after the call:
You can set to disconnect the Bluetooth headphone connection
after the call has ended. The default setting is Stay
connected.

(For example, if you want to use the same Bluetooth headphone
with your smartphone and KX-TGDA99 alternately).
If you select Stay connected: The Bluetooth headphones
will be connected to the Panasonic handset. However, in order
for you to connect that Bluetooth headphones back to your
smartphone, you have to manually enter the smartphone
Bluetooth settings and select the headphones to connect.
If you select Disconnect: After the call, the Bluetooth
headphones will be disconnected from the Panasonic handset
and it will automatically be connected to your smartphone.
Note:
R In some cases when Disconnect is selected, during an
incoming call when you press MPAIRN button, it might take
some time to connect to the headphone.

However, the
handset speaker is turned on so that you do not miss the call.
During this time Connecting will be displayed on the
handset. Once the Bluetooth connection is established, the
call will automatically switched to headphone.

Answering system
Problem Cause/solution
The unit does not record new
m
essages.
R The answering system is turned off. Turn it on (page 52).
R The message memory is full. Erase unnecessary messages
(page 53).
R The recording time is set to Greeting only. Change the
setting (page 57).
R Your phone service provider’s voicemail service may be
answering your calls before the unit’s answering system can
answer your calls. Change the unit’s number of rings setting
(page 57) to a lower value, or contact your phone service
provider.
R The answering system will not answer incoming calls while the
other devices such as handsets are engaged in a call.
