CUST.SET MEM. 1
This command allows you to store up to three sets of command option
settings. You can enable them through the mode dial’s CUSTOM Mode
option.
The selected mode dial option or Intelligent Auto Mode dictates the avail-
able commands.
C1
Saved as C1, a stored predefined group of command option settings.
When enabled, the predefined option settings are enabled for still and
motion picture taking until overridden or until the mode dial is taken off
this Custom menu option.
C2
Saved as C2, a stored predefined group of command option settings.
When enabled, the predefined option settings are enabled for still and
motion picture taking until overridden or until the mode dial is taken off
this Custom menu option.
C3
Saved as C3, a stored predefined group of command option settings.
When enabled, the predefined option settings are enabled for still and
motion picture taking until overridden or until the mode dial is taken off
this Custom menu option.
Fn BUTTON SET 1
This command allows you to set each of the function buttons to a menu
command for easy viewing and setting.
This eliminates multiple steps to view and set the selected command’s
option value and thus speeds up the picture-taking process.
Fn1 Assigns a command to the Fn1 button.
Fn2 Assigns a command to the Fn2 button.
Fn3 Assigns a command to the Fn3 button.
HISTOGRAM 1
This command enables the histogram display in the viewfinder or on
the LCD screen. The histogram is a graphical representation of the dis-
tribution of light intensities being recorded by the sensor. Intensities are
displayed along the horizontal axis (black to white), and the vertical axis
represents the number of pixels at a specific level of brightness.
An ideal histogram is a classic bell curve in the center of the graph, mean-
ing that most of the brightness level is in the middle—not too bright, not
too dark. An underexposed histogram has a bell curve skewed to the left.
An overexposed histogram has a bell curve skewed to the right.
OFF Disables the Histogram display.
ON Enables the Histogram display.
