CLOCK SET 1
This command sets the cameras date and time information. The current
date and time stamp will be stored with each picture and video. You can
print the recorded information on hard copy pictures, and you can see it
during playback of pictures and videos. It can also determine your sub-
jects’ ages in the Face Recognition function and in the PET and BABY1/
BABY2 predefined scene modes. The clock will also enable the camera to
determine when you are on vacation based on travel dates that you enter.
Enter in Information
Enter time, date, date format, and time display format: The chosen for-
mats will be used throughout the camera’s software. If the mm/dd/yyyy
date format is chosen, the displayed dates will be in this format.
Note: The clock setting can be maintained for three months by the built-
in clock battery if the camera’s regular battery is nonoperational or if it
is removed from the camera. The built-in clock battery can be recharged
from the camera battery within 24hours.
WORLD TIME 1
Use this option to set your homes and travel destinations time zones.
It includes a daylight saving time indicator for both the Home and Des-
tination options.
If you have set both the World Time’s Destination information and your
travel dates in the TRAVEL DATE command, the camera will automatically
display the correct date and time while you are traveling, along with the
number of days you are currently into your travel itinerary.
Enter in Information
When you first enter the WORLD TIME command, or when you enter the
command after you execute a RESET command, you will be prompted to
enter your Home time zone.
If you are traveling, enter a Destination time zone.
The last entered time zone becomes the cameras internal clock value. If
you have not yet started your trip, return to the Home option and press
the MENU/SET button when the Home time zone is displayed.
