RESET 5
This command resets the REC and SETUP/CUSTOM options to their
default values. Some additional settings are also changed.
REC:
REC settings are reset.
FACE RECOG. is reset.
SETUP/CUSTOM:
PLAYBACK Menu/FAVORITE set to [OFF].
PLAYBACK Menu/ROTATE DISP. set to [ON].
SCENE/BABY1/BABY2 name and age cleared.
SCENE/PET name cleared.
TRAVEL DATE cleared.
WORLD CLOCK cleared.
PLAYBACK:
ROTATE DISP. set to [OFF].
Note: The folder number and Clock Setting are not changed.

FORMAT 5
This command formats the memory card to accept pictures and videos.
Formatting will delete anything already stored on the memory card.
Ensure that you have downloaded any files you wish to retain onto your
computer prior to formatting. Leave the camera on while formatting the
card. Ensure the cameras battery is sufficiently charged to complete the
formatting. Memory cards formatted by equipment other than the Pana-
sonic G series cameras may not work in the camera. Reformat the mem-
ory card with the camera to ensure its usability.
DELETE ALL DATA
FROM THE MEMORY
CARD?

All of the data stored on the memory card will be deleted, the file and
folder numbers will be reset (file number to 1; folder number to 100), and
the memory card will be formatted for use in the Panasonic GH2 camera.

No formatting action taken. Data and file and folder numbers are
retained. The memory card will retain its current format, data, and file and
folder information. Therefore, if the memory card was not already for-
matted for the Panasonic GH2 camera, it will still not be formatted if [NO]
is selected.
